On glossy paint, sealed wood or textured drywall, roll on the Adhesion Promoter and wait 20–30 minutes. This is the step that stops corners lifting a year later.
Layout with the Measuring & Cutting Set, then cut with the Utility Knife. A crisp cut edge is the difference between handmade and homemade.
Lay Reinforcing Tape on problem walls, set the tile, then roll it flat with the Seam Roller. Trapped air is what turns into bubbles.
Cap raw cuts with Edge Trim and close the floor line with Flexible Baseboard. This is the step that reads as professional.
Run Seam Sealer along counters and sinks, keep surfaces clean with the Care Kit, and fix chips with the Repair Kit.
The tiles alone will stick to clean, matte, smooth drywall. Everything else is about how long it lasts and how finished it looks. A primer makes tiles grip glossy or textured walls, edge trim hides raw cut edges, and a seam sealer stops water getting behind a backsplash. Most customers buy two or three accessories with their first order.
The seam roller. Pressing each tile into full contact is the single biggest factor in how long an install lasts, and it costs less than five dollars. If your wall is glossy painted or slightly textured, buy the adhesion promoter first instead.
Very little. The primer needs 20 to 30 minutes to flash off before you tile, and seam sealer cures over 24 hours. Everything else — tape, roller, trim, cutting tools — is used as you go and adds minutes, not hours.
Yes. Warm the tile with a hairdryer for about 30 seconds and peel slowly at a low angle. Trim and sealant score away with a utility knife. Reinforcing tape releases with gentle heat. Always test one tile in a hidden spot first, especially on older drywall.
